Chinese massage therapy is called tui na. Literally translated, tui means push and na means to lift or squeeze. By pushing, squeezing, rubbing and rolling the tissues, muscle and joints, tui na massage flushes out toxins and inflammation. It relaxes muscles and eases pain. Chinese massage therapy is used for joint mobility, muscle tension, even internal disorders such as constipation and anxiety.
Tui na massage can be administered in conjunction with acupuncture. Often a nice way to Finnish off the treatment.
