Dr. Stacey King Dr. Ac.
Dr. Stacey King, our Acupuncturist, TCM practitioner, and owner of A Fine Balance Health Care, has been sharing her expertise here in Airdrie Alberta for 20 years. She has her doctorate in Acupuncture, and diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her experience and genuine care infuses into every treatment. Stacey has a special interest in pain management, woman’s health and facial acupuncture rejuvenation. Stacey is here to offer support and guidance, tailoring treatments that resonate with your unique journey.
Johanne Hachez SMT(cc), RMT, Infant Massage Instructor
Johanne graduated from the 2200-hour program from Foothills College of massage therapy and has been massaging since 2005. 2 years of training consisted of intense study in Anatomy, physiology, ergonomics, biomechanics, orthopedic assessment, clinical studies, therapeutic exercises and hydrotherapy. She offers a variety of massage therapy techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, Trigger Point therapy, active release, myofascial release, lymph drainage, advanced sports massage, hot/cold stone massage therapy, oncology massage, and she teaches infant massage. She is committed to her clients and enjoys working with a broad range of pathologies, including cancer patients, TMJ, female breast concerns, shoulder concerns, paralysis, headaches, pre /post-natal massage and degenerative disk disease to name a few. Johanne loves working with athletes, children, Injuries and repetitive strain. She is currently studying to become a Certified Sports Massage therapist. As an RMT Johanne takes the time to learn what her client’s goals are and will tailor her treatments to every individual’s needs to obtain the desired therapeutic results. When she isn’t working, relaxing or watching sports, she is always working on kicking goals off her bucket list, traveling the globe or just simply kayaking or hiking in the mountains.
Our origin story
In the heart of Airdrie, a spark of passion ignited the creation of A Fine Balance Health Care. This wasn’t just about opening another clinic; it was about crafting a sanctuary where every treatment and service is steeped in the belief that wellness thrives on a balance of care, compassion, and expertise. Stacey embarked on this journey. She fully renovated her home, transforming the lower level into a tranquil healing space. Her vision came to with the combination of acupuncture, massage therapy and traditional Chinese medicine, offering holistic wellness for the whole family.
